In December 2009, Roberts sealed a deal with Lancome and agreed to become their 2010 "ambassadress".
Bosses at the beauty firm were so desperate to rope in the “Pretty Woman" for their campaign that they made no delays in paying her the staggering amount.
Roberts reportedly flew straight to Paris with hubby Danny Moder after attending Sunday's Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles to shoot her adverts.
Before Julia Roberts Isabella Rossellini and Juliette Binoche have also been the ambassadors of the luxury beauty brand.
