Jessica has revealed that she liked the movie and it was very special to her because she could relate to her own heritage. She also revealed that she had an instant bonding with the director.
This 29 year old star, once again came together with Robert Rodriguez director of 'Sin City' for the revenge thriller 'Machete'.For the first time she takes on the character of Latina, who is a determined US Immigration agent.
"I have never played a Latina in a film before... I've always thought if I'm going to play a Latina character, I want her to be this dynamic and strong woman, like the women I grew up with," she reported to Tatler magazine.
"Robert Rodriguez's movies are so entertaining. I grew up Mexican-American and so did he. We were instantly like family. We cook and hang out with the kids," she said.
