{image-02-jk-rowling-020910.jpg-www.boldsky.com}J.K-Rowling,-author-of-'Harry-Potter',-has-donated-Million-to-a-Multiple-Sclerosis-charity.-This-charity-will-set-up-a-clinic-for-patients-suffering-this-disease.-The-clinic-will-be-named-after-J.K-Rowling's-mother,-Anne-Rowling.-Anne-Rowling-had-lost-her-life-suffering-Sclerosis.-J.K-Rowling-says,-when-she-was-offered-this-project,-she-knew-she-wanted-to-do-this.-She-wants-the-clinic-to-be-well-equipped-and-capable-of-unraveling-the-mysteries-of-Multiple-Sclerosis.-'I-have-just-turned-45,-the-age-at-which-my-mother,-Anne,-died-of-complications-related-to-her-multiple-sclerosis.'I-know-that-she-would-rather-have-had-her-name-on-this-clinic-than-on-any-statue,-flower-garden-or-commemorative-plaque,-so-this-donation-is-on-her-behalf,-too,-and-in-gratitude-for-everything-she-gave-me-in-her-far-too-short-life," said Rowling.
The Anne Rowling regenerative neurology clinic, will be set up at the University of Edinburgh. Along with Multiple Sclerosis, the clinic will also treat patients of Alzheimer"s, Parkinson"s, Huntington"s and motor neurone disease.
