'Mad Men' Wins The Emmy Award

Emmy Awards, a salute to the Primetime programmes celebrated it's 62nd year on the 29th of August. Ruling the red carpet of Emmy Awards 'Mad Men" has won it as outstanding drama series third time in a row and 'Modern Family" was named outstanding comedy series.

ABC's ensemble comedy netted an early win for supporting actor Eric Stonestreet, who plays the lovable Cameron Tucker. The first-time winner called the gig "the most amazing job ever" onstage.

"All I wanted to be was a clown in the circus when I was a kid growing up," confessed Stonestreet.

'Glee", too has won the outstanding supporting actress in a comedy role. She also collected the award for director Ryan Murphy and Jane Lynch. She joked, "I love you. You're young and you're wonderful. You're fresh-faced, and when I'm not seething with jealousy, I'm so proud of you."

Edie Falco claimed outstanding actress in a comedy for Nurse Jackie and Jim Parsons won outstanding actor in a comedy role for The Big Bang Theory.
