Cheryl Cole has found a 'Fairy Godfather' in Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. Cheryl Cole has been in trauma after her trouble with husband Ashley Cole. In this time of crisis, Will stood by her side and vouch to do so all his life.

Will.i.am, whose real name is Williams James Adams, has confessed that he is besotted by Cheryl Cole, who he apparently refers to as wifey, and says needs rescuing.

Will says, “She needs rescuing after all she"s been through and I"m the man to do it. The way Ashley treated her was just stupid and she knows I will always be there for her now. If she"s in New York I will get a flight straight away to see her. If she"s in LA I"ll get on a flight there. I"ll even come to London if she wants me to. Whenever she needs me she knows I"m straight there, no excuses.

Will is a boon to the troubled Cheryl Cole and reveals that she finds a loyal friend in Will, though she remains undecided about whether to divorce Ashley.

Will, holds great respect for Cheryl Cole and refers to her as wifey. Gossip mongers have already started linking the two but Cheryl herself have confessed that they are just great friends who will be there for each other forever.
