Who Should Possess Brando's Ashes?

Currently his ashes are with his son, Christian Brando's girl friend, Donna Lopez Geon. It's been said that, Geon has taken the ownership of Brando's cremated remains as well which belonged to her late boyfriend.
Brando's ex-wife, Anna Kashfi, has filed legal papers in LA County Superior Court to get the possession of his ashes. As per the court papers, it says that, Geon has taken many of Christian's possessions and she wants those returned.
When asked, why is she possessing Christian's belongings, she said, “Christian wasn"t close with his family and wouldn"t have wanted his mother or anyone else to have his property when he died."
“When I found out they were coming after the property, I took some of the ashes I have and spread them in Franklin Canyon [in Beverly Hills] ... Marlon loved that place," she stated.
