When Jon Bon Jovi and Diane Lane broke – up the world was stunned. Recently in the new book, “Sex, Drugs and Bon Jovi", Bon Jovi's tour manager, Rich Bozzett has written that the reason why Jon Bon Jovi left Diane Lane was that she made him feel jealous by getting too attached to his guitarist Richie Sambora.

Rich Bozzett writes, "The very thing that made Jon feel so passionate toward Diane Lane in the first place ended up being the reason for their sudden, unceremonious breakup."

Bozzett said that Diane was a young lady who loved to party. As she is a party animal she was caught for partying too much with Richie Sambora. He also mentioned that it was a very sad day for Jovi to catch Diane Lane with Richie Sambora.

Later Bon Jovi got along with his high school mate Dorothea Hurley and got married in 1989.
