Backstreet Boys singer, A.J. McLean proposed to his girlfriend in style on his 32nd birthday while he was crooning on stage.

McLean who was in Hard Rock Hotel's Wasted Space nightclub, Las Vegas for his birthday bash got down on his knees and proposed to his girl, Rochelle Deanna Karidis.

The singing star got up on stage and the DJ turned the music off. He got down on his knees and proposed her lady love. "He asked her and she said yes and hugged him," said sources.

McLean had bought a wedding ring for Karidis hours before from the Hard Rock Hotel's jewellery store.

Everybody, including Karidis, was surprised to see McLean getting on to the stage. All of McLean's friends knew he his going to propose Karidis but had no clue that he would do it then and there.
