White House's Christmas Decorations Sparks Criticism

Though the18-and-a-half-foot Douglas Fir tree boasts to be environmentally friendly, with recycled ornaments, energy-saving LED lights and an organic tree skirt, the tree however carries controversial decorations.
The decorations include an orb depicting former Chinese leader Mao Zedong and another showing drag queen Hedda Lettuce has kindled big time criticism.
Mike Flynn, editor of BigGovernment.com which was first to bring out the news of the controversial decorative objects has criticised, “Can we have one aspect of this White House that isn't trying to make a political statement? "
Blogger Azaria Jagger said, "[D]oes it really make sense to put a tyrannical communist leader's visage on the American president''s Christmas tree? On the other hand, an ornament that shellacks [Obama's] face onto Mount Rushmore is just tacky. It's in the guy's living room, for crying out loud."
However the Watchdog group Media Matters commented, “the right-wing's White House Christmas tree freak-out."
Hedda Lettuce was happy about her portrait in the White House though it is to be only for a short time.
For all the verbal attacks hurled, Designer Simon Doonan, who organised the Christmas decorations at the White House is tight lipped. So is 'White House'.
