Shilpa Shetty Invests For Rajasthan Royals

After winning the celebrity Big Brother, Shilpa Shetty became the over-night sensation and a media darling. She went on to promote yoga, Indian-ism and her own perfume brand. This time around the Bollywood actor has reportedly invested t 15.4 million dollars for the IPL team 'Rajasthan Royals'.

This makes Shetty third film personality after Shah Rukh Khan and Priety Zinta to invests in the IPL team. This is a joint venture of Shetty along with her London-based partner Raj Kundra. The reports were confirmed by Rajasthan Royals owner Manoj Badale.

Shilpa Shetty will be required to involve herself in to the teams promotional activities, for her it is a business move. Raj Kundra was inspired by the teams victory last season. Rajasthan Royals had won the IPL with spinner Shane Warne as the captain. AGENCIES
