Rihanna: The Woman Of The Year!

Glamour magazine named the R&B star Rihanna as the Woman of the Year. She will receive the Glamour honour during an awards ceremony at New York's Carnegie Hall.

The singer, who was beaten up by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February (09), is now bouncing back from the turmoil. She was tormented by the spread of photographs by the paparazzi too. She also lamented, "I went to sleep like Rihanna and woke up like Britney Spears."

After taking some time out of the limelight to recover from the brutal attack, the Bajan beauty is now preparing to make her chart return with the release of her album Rated R.
