Queen To Re-Launch Her Website
The queens site, Royal.gov.uk, had hit the cyberspace 12 years ago. However, now the site will also feature interesting videos, historical documents along with Queen Victoria's journal, which includes her trial of Alexander Graham Bell's then new discovery, the telephone.
Queen's website has attracted around 250,000 visitors from around the world per week. The up-dation of the site is on the Queen's part to keep in touch with the younger generation. However, the Queen's Internet venture was claimed to be limited, with the channel saying: "We can't e-mail her and there's little prospect of the Queen blogging, conducting a webchat or indeed twittering."
During its first year the site had gathered popularity with over 35 million visits alone during the Princess Diana's funeral. queen elizabeth is known to keep herself updated with the modern technology, previously she had launched The Royal Channel, that featured video sharing website YouTube, including her Christmas day message and exclusive footage of the members of the Royal family.
