The socialite stated that her income is not affected by the recession as she is still payed huge amounts for appearing in Nightclubs. She plans to boost the retail industry by keeping up her shopaholic habits.

"It's really scary about the economy right now. So the way I'm playing my part in helping is doing a lot of shopping wherever I go," Contactmusic quoted Hilton, as telling Heat magazine.
