Diamond Dashboard For Paris' Bentley

Nothing can stop Paris Hilton from spending money, not even the on-going recession. Reportedly the Hilton Heiress has ordered a diamond encrusted dashboard for her brand new Bentley.

Apart from her pink Bentley making news, it is the 200,000 pounds worth dash-board that has hit the headlines. The custom-made dash board will be flown from the British HQ firm in Crewe to be fitted to her Bentley in LA.

Nevertheless, recession has not spared the Cheshire plant, that has halted the production plans until early May. "I guess she's not hit too badly by the recession," the Sun quoted a Bentley source as saying

The makers were dumb-found after the staff member of Paris Hilton contacted the Bentley in Crewe to ask for the diamond encrusted dashboard. "When the man said she wanted to stud the dashboard with a couple of hundred grand's worth of diamonds, we were stunned," the Bentley source said.

"We're used to dealing with the stars so we expect the odd extravagance, but this is something else," the Bentley source added.

Paris gifted herself the Bentley for Christmas and had it sprayed pink along with the upholstery, grille and hubcaps. She also had the Bentley badge replaced with her own initials. The car has tinted windows to prevent photographers from preying her in the car. "I've just always wanted a pink car," Hilton said.

"I think when you're a little girl and you have the Barbie Corvette you're always like, "Oh, I wish I had a car like this one day. I think it just comes from being a fan of Barbie for so long," she added.
