Mel Gibson Slashes $5m On Mansion Price

Mel Gibson joins the list of celebrities who had the taste of the economic recession. He has recently taken off 5 million dollars from the price of his Tudor-style mansion in Connecticut.

Mel Gibson has now put the 15-bedroom sprawling estate to just 37.5 million dollars. The 1926 mansion, eyed as a local Greenwich landmark, boasts of six fireplaces, 18 bathrooms, a tennis court, a private pond, staff houses, a landscaped circular driveway and a soaring cathedral ceiling.

The 53-year-old had first put his Old Mill Farm in the market two years ago, when it stood at 49 million dollars. He allegedly reduced the price to 44 million dollars last September, and decided to trim it down further considering the crashing property rates. .

The legendary actor is in the middle of a divorce with wife of 28 years Robyn Moore.
