Liam Gallagher Sends Telephonic Love To pet Dog!

Singer Liam Gallagher loves his pet dog to pieces and he has a unique way to show his affection. He remains in constant contact with his beloved dog through phone whenever he's away from England. He and his wife Nicole Appleton make regular calls to ensure the wellbeing of his daschund, Ruby.

The couple, currently in Los Angeles, even phoned Ruby to give the dog moral support when she entered into a 'Pup Idol' competition in London. The 18-month old bitch entered the contest through Nicole's former All Saints bandmates. The singer's sister in law Natalie Appleton and Mel Blatt are looking after the dog as both Liam and his wife enjoy a holiday.

Natalie called up Liam, 36, and held the handset to Ruby's ears so she could hear the rocker's words of encouragement ahead of her appearance in the Prettiest Female category. However, Ruby failed to win in the contest.
