Win Or Loose, Kate Winslet's Throwing A Party

By Staff

Kate Winslet's Throwing A Party
Kate Winslet's nomination for the 'Best actress' at the Oscars is her sixth one. This could also be her sixth loss if she does not win the statue. However, that is not going to dampen Kate's spirits, as she will still go ahead and throw a bash for family and friends.

Winslet has been nominated for her role in the film 'The Reader' and competing with her are niche actress like Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie , Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep. Winslet has won appreciation for her performance and various awards like BAFTA.

"You just don't know what's going to happen. This is my sixth nomination, so it will be the sixth time I've attended an Oscar ceremony and that in itself is a great honour," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"I don't take the nominations for granted. If it happens, then great. If it doesn't then I'm still going to have a party," she added.
