Johnny Depp has so far entertained his fans with his unique acting skills. Now, he is planning to venture into a new realm of art that is unknown to his fans-portrait painting!

The Pirates of the Caribbean star can paint oil portraits of his literary heroes and celebrity pals. He started painting the people he admire like admire, like (author Jack) Kerouac, Bob Dylan, Nelson Algren, Marlon Brando, Patti Smith, his girl (Vanessa Paradis) and his kids. He also painted (late journalist) Hunter (S. Thompson) a couple of times (and) Keith Richards.

Johnny Depp loves to paint people, their faces and especially their eyes! He believes that a painter can find that emotion, see what's going on behind their eyes.
