Ear candling is said to aid in improving one's health by lighting one end of the special candle and wedging the other end in the ear.

But what does Jessica Simpson have to do with it?

Well, a video clipping is on Twitter posted none other than herself using a ear candle.

The singer was gifted with a ear wax candling kit as a Christmas gift from her hairdresser Ken Paves.

The stylist then caught the star testing the Christmas present at her home according to the reports of New York Daily News.

The video clipping shows the songstress resting her head on the table with a lit candle fixed in her ear

"Who gives this kind of candle for a Christmas gift?" Simpson tweeted. She is also audible while complaining of the whole process making her feel nauseous.
