An Ice Cream Day To Chill Out!

The school in Bhopal is in a big way by making 'Ice-Cream Day' every year in July. They organized 'Ice Cream Day' on Saturday (18th July 2009) on the lines of the National Ice Cream Day marked in the United States on third Sunday on July. It's been seven years since Bhopal's Preety Petals Foundation School started celebrating Ice Cream Day to the delight of all students at the school.
School children made most of the opportunity and enjoyed gulping as much ice cream as they could. Organizers also view it as a day to increase popularity of ice creams. Thus, on this occasion, an Ice cream eating competition was also held, which was participated joyfully by all students.
Ice Cream Day first initiated in 1984. The then U.S President Ronald Regan had declared July as national Ice cream month and announced third Sunday of July as the National Ice Cream Day.
