Stars including Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Deborah Harry have joined hands to appear on an HMV charity calendar to raise funds for young cancer patients.
The glossy 'My Inspiration' calendar shows each of these influential artists revealing their biggest musical inspiration. Dylan pays tribute to Scottish poet Robert Burns while Dylan himself has inspired McCartney and Bono.
Springsteen"s biggest influence was Woody Guthrie while Paul Weller owes a debt to John Lennon and McCartney.
HMV is hoping to raise 20,000 pounds through the sale of the 7.99 pound calendar.
Almost 200 stars revealed their key influences to HMV out of which only 18 are pictured in the calendar. They were shot by celebrated photographers including Anton Corbijn and Dean Chalkley.
