Google Earth Discovers Spanish Treasure
Smith believes that the ship is crammed with treasure worth billions. Using Google Earth, he zoomed in to a shoe-print like impression near the area where the ship is reported to have crashed.
With the help of experts, Smith investigated the site with a metal detector and declared that he struck gold buried with the vessel. However, Smith now faces legal battle by the ranch owner's over the excavation of the site. He believes that the site is holding riches worth 3 billion dollars.
The claim is absolutely unfounded, as stated by Ron Walker, the attorney representing the ranch owners."It was offensive that somebody could go on Google Earth, look down and see what they think under the ground...and come in and say I want to dig up your property. They have no proof anything is there and no experience," the Telegraph quoted him as telling ABC News. AGENCIES
