He might have saved the country, England, from many a defeats, but when it came to saving his own home from burglary, he found himself to be a failure.

Burglars have robbed England all-rounder Freddie Flintoff's new home of 6,000-pounds worth of builders' gear. According to The Sun, the gang stole tools after breaking into the four million pound property at Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire.

The house is being built on the site of a smaller one Freddie bought from soccer boss . Cops, so far, have been helpless in finding the traces of the people behind, but they remain to be helpful. This possibly is one of the rare cases of burglaries seen in the recent times.
