So, what does the new dress code look like? Well - shouldn't take you with a big surprise -- the dress code allows students to wear only eastern ethnic dresses such as shalwar qameez or loose trousers. Dupattas have been made mandatory for girl students in the college. Any body surprised?
However, college official said the dress code had nothing to do with the terror threat, and the college administration is only following a government notification. "The measures are in line with a government notification, and has no connection with rumours about burqa-clad women issuing warnings to students," vice-principal of the college, Nikhat Khan, said.
