Dickens house up for sale

Destiny must have suddenly taken a real wild turn for the little known real estate agent, Terence Painter Properties. You may ask the reason, why? Well, the cliff top building with six bedrooms is being sold for two million pounds. No, money is not what makes this special. It's the owner of the building Charles Dickens. Now, does it sound special? Yes, it does, right?

Victorian novelist, Charles Dickens former house, Boradstairs, Kent is up for sale. The fort-like building is the same house where Dickens wrote one of his most famous novels, David Copperfield. "Bleak House commands one of the most prominent positions high up on the cliffs on the coast of Kent.

This mansion is known far and wide as the seaside residence of the great novelist, Charles Dickens,"the Telegraph quoted a spokesman for the estate agent as saying. "The Grade II Listed house was built in 1801 and has to be one of the country''s most renowned homes," he added.




	Bleak House commands one of the most prominent positions – high up on the cliffs on the coast of Kent.

Bleak House underwent a 40,000-pound restoration after being damaged by fire in 2006. While it has yet to be determined why the house has been put up for sale, the paper suggests that the family business of its current owner, local jewellery tycoon,

Richard Hilton, is in difficulty for mislabelling their wares.

His daughter Kelly is said to be awaiting sentencing after admitting offenses under the Hallmark Act before local magistrates last month.
