The LAPD investigating Hollywood actress' Brittany Murphy's death has not ruled out the possibility of drug overdose as the cause. They are at present waiting for the toxicology and neurological reports.

Murphy's mother had found her lying unconscious in a bathroom in her LA home. The paramedics later confirmed that she had died of a heart attack.
