Behind The Scenes Photos Of Beatles, On Show
To mark the 40th anniversary of the last time the Beatles played on the rooftop of the Apple Building on Savile Row, a display of rare photos of the fab four will be displayed.

The rare behind the scenes images will be displayed on the exhibition that opens at the Movieum at County Hall on the South Bank on March 12. The collection is about the span from 1963 to 1970.

The collection includes exclusive photos taken during the making of the video Help and A Hard Day's Night. Also included are the behind the scenes photos taken by the photographer Robert Whitaker, who accompanied the band in their 1966 tour of Japan.

A particular snap shows John Lennon walking past a line of bikini-clad extras while directing the film 'The Magical Mystery Tour' in the year 1967. The exhibition will also showcase a Beatles memorabilia that includes one of John Lennon's Rickenbacker guitars.

"The images in this exhibition showcase the Fab Four at their dizzying best, capturing a selection of their oddest, funniest and loudest moments," the Telegraph quoted Louise Garczewska, the director of the Getty Images Gallery, as saying. AGENCIES
