On a US news show Extra, Teri Hatcher stated that the president Barack Obama owed her a autograph. Hatcher met the president at the fundraiser in Los Angeles and Obama was impressed to know that she had sacrificed a night with her daughter, Emerson, to be at the bash.

"We had a moment where we shook hands (and) I told him I was a single mom. I remembered the event was on a night I had custody of my daughter and I don't ever go out when I have custody of my daughter," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She added: "I said to him, This is the only thing I would have left my daughter at home for," and he said, "I'll have to get you an autograph on a napkin." And in a message to the President she said: "You actually owe Emerson an autograph. First you can handle the economy. Then you can handle the war. Years from now when things are better, maybe you'll send an autograph." AGENCIES
