Obama And Spiderman Amusing Comic Book

"When we read that we thought, 'Oh my God the future Commander-in-chief is actually the future nerd-in-chief,' the New York Daily News quoted Joe Quesada, Marvel's top editor, as saying. "With a geek in the White House , we just had to give him a shout back. It's just the coolest thing ever," Quesada added.
The new edition of the comic will hit the stands with Obama and Spiderman on the cover. The story is about the mild mannered photographer Peter Parker, who spots two Obamas on inauguration day, as reported by news.com.au. He later transforms into the superhero and rescues the real Obama.
The resulting sales stunt from the brand new idea will benefit the industry, says Gus Poulakas, owner of Silver Age Comics in Queens. "We'll get a couple of people coming in off the street, who didn't read a comic book in their lives, people wanting to get a piece of history," he said.
However, this is not the first time that a political figure has been featured on a comic, earlier Obama was also endorsed by the title character of Image Comics' 'Savage Dragon" at the time of his campaign. "Let me just say if John McCain had come out and said he was a big Spider-Man or Captain America fan, we'd do it for him, too," Quesada said
Well, the new edition will show what happens when a 'real' hero meets the 'reel' hero! Watch out kids.
