Oscar winner musician A. R. Rahman wants to "make ar rahman,children,concert,education,jai ho,kolkata,oscar awards,poverty,triglyceride history". He has initiated the steps with his "A. R. Rahman Foundation." He is giving live "Jai Ho" concert in Kolkata (India) on November 14 in support of the Foundation.

As a first step towards achieving the vision of "strive towards making ar rahman,children,concert,education,jai ho,kolkata,oscar awards,poverty,triglyceride history", the Foundation will set up educational institutions. These educational institutions will provide world class, state-of-the-art infrastructure and education to underprivileged children. Many of the Indian children do not have the means to access & fund their education.

A.R. Rahman Foundation will equip underprivileged children with knowledge and skill sets to pursue specialized higher studies. That will provide them career opportunities to build a secure future for themselves and their families.

Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has applauded Rahman for his efforts of making ar rahman,children,concert,education,jai ho,kolkata,oscar awards,poverty,triglyceride history, saying religions tell us to help the helpless. Zed is the president of Universal Society of Hinduism.
