It's not unusual to see two see a rift between actors and actresses, and when one talks about hollywood, it's just another day at work. But rare do we see some body taking the initiative to breach this gap. And when it does, it, for sure, makes news.

Anne Hathway, The Princess Diaries Star, seems to be a complete sweet heart when it comes to burying the hatchet. Last week the star showed up to support Natalie Portman's new venture – the behind-the-scenes entertainment industry Web site MakingOf.com- at Tribeca's Marble House.

Lately, there has been a buzz in hollywood that Natalie should have gotten the part [in the Judy Garland biopic "Get Happy"] that Anne landed," The New York Daily News quoted an industry insider as saying. One of the main causes for these kinds of rift. "Anne wanted to pay her respects and make sure there was no bad blood," said the source.

And Hathaway toasted Portman with a glass of Moet at the bash. Living life in true spirit, after all. And when you look at it, it's after all part of the game – 'hit the game not the player'.
