Akshay Kumar has made waves in Bollywood and rocked the headlines with his consistency as an actor, however, currently the star graced the launch of 'Baby Beri' in New Delhi on Sunday. This was a show that displayed the celebrity designer, Ritu Beri's collection for kids.

The funds raised from the show would go for the The Blessed Hearts Foundation for the welfare of underprivileged children. The collection showcased three prime sub-division, sions - Beri Princess, Rock Star Babes and Bollywood Divas, which included both Indian and western wear.

Akshay Kumar was impressed by the professional act put together by the children on the ramp. "I have really-really enjoyed it. I have been to many ramp shows and have sat on the first bench and clapped. But these children have so many expressions on their face. Someone was crying, someone was laughing, someone was frightened, while someone was walking confidently, as if their parents trained them the whole night to walk on ramp," exclaimed Akshay.

Ritu Beri has openly declared her involvement for the welfare for underprivileged children in the near future. Akshay Kumar proved to be the true 'hero' for the kids as he chatted away with them and also requested Beri to design more collection for the much ignored men's wear. AGENCIES
