Will Smith's Kids 'Pay' For Their Own Toys

Talk about disciplining the children and perhaps the Smiths excel in the task. Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett have come up with a simple method to teach their children the value of money. The 'I am Legend' star and wife believe that the kids should be thought financial responsibility early in life in order to be responsible as adults.

The star kids Jaden, 10 and Willow,8 are free to enjoy toys and treats , provided they 'pay' for it themselves. Jaden worked with his dad in 'The pursuit of Happyness' while Willow is one of the voices for the new Madagascar series.

Reportedly Jada Pinkett is their 'bank', where the children draw their cash after writing up a withdrawal slip. "We make it clear to them, 'This is your money and things you want, you'll be paying for'.

Kids have to be very responsible without you having to do it for them," says the proud mum.
