Kate Perry has earned the wrath of the of the critics for glamourising knives. The 'I Kissed A Girl' famed 23 year old Kate Perry has been slammed by the critics for having posed for a photo with a knife.

Though the image was allegedly meant to make the pop star look "edgy", the critics said that she was "out of her mind" for trying to make knives look fashionable, reports the Sun, especially just as the 16-year-old Army cadet was reportedly killed with multiple stab wounds by a gang of self-proclaimed 'defenders" in Liverpool.

While families grieved the death of their teen kids victimised by blades, such attempts to steal the limelight have made an utter contrast.
