Gordon Ramsay's 5 Million Pounds Cookery School

With the allegations of a seven-year affair going around, Ramsay, 42, bought the Grade II listed stately home called Botleys, situated in London's stockbroker belt, specifically for the project. Sources say that he has decided to go ahead with his teachings despite the affair claims made by Sarah Symonds, 38, the Daily Star reported.
According to them, the chef paid mortgage brokers Network Data Holdings 5 million pounds for the 18th Century, 30-room house in Chertsey, Surrey. Earlier the mansion had been badly damaged by fire a decade ago, but has since been restored. It will be the first academy for Ramsay, who also hopes to open a restaurant there.
Gordon Ramsay is concerned with the poor standards in catering colleges and wants to set up his own chef academy. He is expected to finalise the deal on Botleys, which had been used as an asylum in the 1930s and a World War Two hospital, this week.
