Denise Van Outen Scarred By Sunbed
London: The idea of getting a quick tan has not proved quite fruitful for loveable radio DJ Denise Van Outen, for she has revealed that using a tanbed in her teens had left her 'scarred for life'.
The bubbly blonde admitted in an interview that her face has been permanently scarred from using sunbeds.
"It's my big regret. I [now] have pigmentation problems on my face," The Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
Denise, who hit heights of popularity while co-hosting The Big Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan, said that she got addicted to tanning beds when she was a teenager.
The beautiful judge on BBC hit talent show 'I'd Do Anything' admitted that the addiction was so bad that she even developed 'tanorexia', and thus she has to wear a lot of make-up to hide her facial scars.
"I used a sunbed when I was 18 because I didn't know the risks, but I'm paying for it now," she said.
The Essex-native pleaded girls everywhere not to go for tan beds and rather opt for suntan oil.
