Topping the 2008 list of 'Heroes' is John Sergeant. Following on the second place is the 'change factor', US president Barack Obama.

The others included on the list are Britain's Prince Harry and, French first lady Carla Bruni. The Olympic star Michael Phelps joined the list too. Tina Fey who appeared on 'Saturday Night Live' as an impersonation of Alaska governor Sarah Palin is also on the list of 'Heroes'.

Joining the above are BBC former chief political correspondent John Sergeant, and Boris Johnson, Mayor of London.
