Lata Mangeshkar's tribute to Nayyar

Mumbai, Jan 28 (UNI) Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar today said she never had a quarrel with music composer , who passed away today, despite the fact that they had never worked together.

''He had his own distinctive style which was completely different from others. We never had any differences despite the fact that we never worked with each other,'' she reiterated.

Shammi Kapoor too said, ''Nayyar was one of the finest music directors in Indian cinema and gave immense style to his compositions.'' Nayyar had composed music for films 'Tumsa Nahi Dekha' and 'Kashmir Ki Kali' in which Kapoor had acted.
