Bra Lifts Indian Women Into 21st Century

By Super Admin

Honor the women! They"re roses celestial
Twining and weaving in lives terrestrial,
Weaving the bond of the most blessed love,
Veiled in the Graces" most modest attire

(Friedrich Schiller)

Are you confused reading the title? I was too; when I had a glimpse on the title published in one of the European magazines few months back. As we all know the basic obligation of bras is to lift up a particular body part of women, but how could it lift Women, especially Indian women in to 21st Century. Moving deep into the article, the intentions and inspirations behind the words became more clear. The author was not at all depicting the rich legacy and moral standards of Indian women, but in all the ways declaring that Indian women lead such a pathetic life, that the only modern facility of 21stcentury available to Indian women is 'the bra'.

Europe and USA have living facilities three hundred years ahead to India. But it never means that we Indians live still in the stone age. Indian women are always one step ahead to women from most of the developed countries. When there are examples like Kalpana Chawla and Sunitha Williams, it is not at needed to launch campaigns to proclaim that our women are equal or ahead to the so called civilized and modern women around this globe. It is not some fabrics that make our women modern and we do not believe that few pieces of cloth could never anyone civilized or modern.

Indian families are most stable compared to other countries. Do you know why? Undoubtedly we can say that Indian families remain lovely abodes to live in, just because our women, mothers and sisters, lead a life of dedication and self-denying for the welfare of the entire family. India is the only region where women is considered equal to god. No modern facility and post modern lifestyles could equal the divinity of Indian womanhood.

I agree with the author of the mentioned article that every Indian woman may not know to operate super computers, every woman may not be able to drive a vehicle and they may be ignorent of the modern inventions and post modern facilities; but Indian women has a unique quality still within them, the perfect womanhood. Womanhood is not just appearing in female apparels and mating with man. But the essence of womanhood is to be a perfect companion of man to make this world a beautiful place to live in, womanhood is being a loving mother to the future generations and above all it is to be proud on the womanliness and enjoying equal status with anyone in the society.

We don't want our sisters and mothers to join hands with European women in their fight for the right of wearing least possible amount of cloths. We don't want our women to go to streets seeking equality with men, ignoring the family and children. We want Indian women to be loving mothers, sweet sisters, and beloved companions. Never and never warriors to fight for modernity and meaningless freedom as the unethical and immoral European culture.

Being good home makers doesn't mean that our women are unaware of the day today happenings and are completely cut-away from the outer world. It is a matter of proud for all to tell you that India, the largest Democratic Republic is lead by a woman, Pratibha Patel, the President of India. We have several woman chief ministers to rule over different Indian states. And in fields like education, career opportunities etc... no women enjoys less privileges.

Compared with Europeans, Indians may have a dark complexion. But it doesn't mean that we live in a dark age or our knowledge and abilities are not equal to the developed Europeans. It is not a few pieces of cloths, whatever it be, that measures the status and standards of our Women. Today India is the most sought after outsourcing destination of any country or business firms. It is not just because the costs are low in India, but the world has realised the reliability and skills of Indians. And more than forty percent of Indian workers are women.

I salute you, Indian Women, for the silent sacrifices you have done for our nation. I salute you for the motherly care you have rendered us. And I salute you for your blessed presence that make every Indian powerful and proud to be an Indian.
