Global Film Festival On Peace & Spirituality
Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) is organising the Global Festival Of Films On Peace & Spirituality in association with Universal Peace Federation on 17th November 2007. This festival is open to all the Filmmakers, Professionals and students who have interest in the field of peace & spirituality. Please note that there is “No Entry Fee."
There is a total of US 00 as Prize money to be won.
The Topic of the Films could be:
1. Family Values
2. Existence of Spiritual World
3. Pilgrims for Peace
4. Role of NGOs
5. Youth, Peace & harmony
6. Role of Spirituality
The Festival aims at emphasizing on the existence of peace and the role of spirituality therein. The organizers of the Festival believe that we as humans are missing serenity of life due to the complexities of modern day lifestyle.
The participating films must be up to 15 minutes in duration. The original work of art will not be discriminated on the basis of country of origin, language, race, age, gender, education, ideology or economic status. There will not be any kind of censorship for content and form. However the film festival demands that the films must be submitted in English language. The film festival does not encourage the submission of trailers in the competition.
The award will be based on screenplay, direction, actor or actress performance, art, photography and integral realization. In addition to the appreciations by category, the Jury will grant special recognition to the Best Short Film and Second Best Short Film. The deadline for registration is 31st October and the jury will not entertain any late entries. The award will be announced through internet on 17th Nov. 2007 and by International Press Media.
