Bina Goenka Flagship Boutique Opens
Jewellery designer Bina Goenka opened her first flagship boutique at The Grand Hyatt Plaza, Santacruz, Mumbai. The brand Bina Goenka is all about passion for exceptional jewellery. Playful jewellery for every mood and occasion is what distinguishes the jewellery from others.
"I design for the confident woman who knows what she wants. She is never a fashion victim rather a trendsetter. Her jewellery never shouts just quietly underlines her unique personality and complements her lifestyle," says Bina Goenka.
Some of the celebrities who attended the preview of Bina Goenka's jewellery launch hosted by Bina with husband Pramod Goenka and children Yash and Avanti Goenka included Hrithik & Suzanne Roshan, Sachin and Anjali tendulkar, Mohammed Azzaruddin , Farah Khan Ali and Zarine Khan, Vicky oberoi, Kamal, Niranjan Hiranandani, Samrat zaveri, Jackie Shroff, Mrs sharad Pawar, Praful patel and Gulshan Grover etc.
Sangeeta Bijlani Azharuddin and Lubna adam were some of Bina Goenka's clients and friends who sported her jewellery at the launch. Sivamani, Niladari and Louis Banks played live at the event.
The collection displays a playful look with extraordinary combinations of different colors of gold, mixing it with diamonds, pearls and precious colored stones in all cuts (round, oval, princess, baguette, hearts, pear and marquise) and in all sizes. Other precious stones too are used, which lend the jewellery color, movement and style sense. The jewels are masterpieces marked by inimitable style, painstaking workmanship characterized by an interesting play of colors and surfaces.
"Fashion is an element that influences our designs on a daily basis. We design with a 'new look' concept, which is not limited to wearing matching pieces of jewellery. We create an original look every season keeping in mind the trends forecasts of the fashion world internationally " says Bina Goenka.
The 1270 sq feet boutique at the luxury mall of the Grand Hyatt Plaza is an extension of the brand's belief in future expansion and represents a breakthrough in jewellery store design. Light, color and art merge in a display area where jewellery is presented to the consumer as the perfect adornment. The color scheme use of black, pink, purple and gold creates the aura of flamboyance and luxury to match the luxury lifestyle. Suzanne Roshan has executed the interior design.
The alluring creations in the shop windows and display cabinets of the store reveal the unmistakable style and talent of the creator, Bina Goenka and complement the exquisite jewellery on display.
To model this season's new range of jewellery, Bina Goenka has roped in a dear friend and a regular client Sangeeta Bijlani Azzaruddin. "Sangeeta has been an icon in the fashion industry for a long time and has retained the glamorous image very consistently over the years. The look, glamour and luxury of our jewellery reflect in her avant-garde outlook, " says Bina Goenka.
Research, visual concept, and highest quality raw material enables designers to mould their imagination and artisans to shape materials. The advantages that Bina Goenka's jewellery offers are design and also production, be it manual or technological of an extremely high quality and aesthetic standards.
Adds Bina Goenka, "I want to make good quality, attractive, colorful jewellery as I find it more exciting and less limiting than only diamond jewellery".
