Last week, writer-director Neeraj Vora denied that he is directing HERA PHERI III. A few days later it was reported that Satish Kaushik would step in Neeraj's shoes and direct the third installment of the laughathon. Of course, it was a case of irresponsible reporting since neither producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala or director Satish Kaushik ever spoke on the issue.

"It's completely untrue," Firoz confirms, "Satish Kaushik is not directing HERA PHERI III. In fact, the director is still not finalized. Actually, we wouldn't decide on the director until and unless we are through with the scripting." The script, he adds, is being penned by the in-house team of his production house. That's the precise update on one of the keenly-anticipated films!
