We might flaunt a designer dress, apply a good perfume to impresses the partner but what do birds do? One of the birds the male bowerbird builds and decorates an elaborate nest to attract a partner.

He spends quality time on that bower. It takes almost a weeks time, to architect the bower which is solely for purpose.

The bower, is a structure woven around a sapling, looks similar to a wooden tent. Moss is used as carpet, flowers and colorful insects to decorate the interiors. Other elements are also presents depending on the designing tactic of the bird.

To entertain himself while building his love palace, the bird croons beautiful melodies to himself. It has remarkable ability to mimic a number of sounds from its surrounding habit and use them to weave together complex arias.

But as it is always, despite a beautiful bower, he is not always successful. He has to build the bower nearby the female bowerbird, so that she look at him, he has to sing to her and look after all her requirement and only then does the female bowerbird enter the palace built for her.

So, Bowerbird is after all as complex as human kamasutra.
