5 Ways To Remove Those Dirt Stains From Canvas Shoes
If you ask any mum how many hours it takes for them to clean their kid's canvas school shoes, then will only sigh! Removing stains from canvas shoes is a great deal and does accommodate a lot of one's time. Using white shoe polish sometimes does not help in making it clean.
However, when you use natural ingredients like lemon or bleaching powder, removing stains from white canvas shoes becomes a lot easier. Boldsky shares with you some of the best ways on how you can now remove dirt stains from white canvas shoes. So, it is time for you to rely on natural remedies other than the white shoe polish. Sit back and try out these tips to remove stains from canvas shoes:

Note: Before you use any of these remedies, it is best to stuff in old newspaper into the shoe. The paper will help to absorb the excess water or liquid used on the shoe. If you don't have an old tooth brush, simply use an old towel instead to remove the stubborn dirt stains.

Paste It Up
Did you know that toothpaste can help to remove stains from canvas shoes? All you need to do is brush your shoes just like how you would brush your teeth. When done, use an old towel to remove the foam and a wet towel to wipe it clean. Allow it to dry in direct sunlight for at least 3 hours.

Bleaching Powder
Make a paste out of bleaching powder and water. Use this application on the canvas shoe. Apply one coat and remove it with an old towel. If the stains are stubborn, use an old toothbrush to clean it. Apply more paste on the stain if it does not lighten.

A Lemon Rub
Lemon helps to remove and lighten stains on canvas shoes. If you are in a hurry to remove the stains from the white shoes, all you need to do is dip a fresh piece of lemon in salt and vigorously rub the peel on the canvas. Repeat this tip until you see the stain becoming light.

Ammonia Does The Trick
Ammonia is another way to remove dirt stains from canvas shoes. However, you need to mix the solution with water as it can easily ruin the fabric of the shoe.

Talcum Powder Helps Too
Before washing the white canvas shoes, sprinkle a little talcum powder on the stain ( if it is an oil stain) . After 10 minutes, remove the talcum powder from the shoe and wash it over running water. Use an old toothbrush to help you further with the stubborn stains.
