5 Ways To Clean A Mixer Grinder
Mixers are commonly used in every Indian household. They are used for grinding masalas, to make juice and to also make different kinds of paste too. After using a mixer grinder, there is always those little remains which are left behind underneath the blades. Along with this, stains make the mixer grinder look all the more dirty.
To clean a mixer grinder at home, there are only five natural ingredients which can help to clean this metal appliance. By using these ingredients to clean your mixer grinder, you will also remove the pungent smell of the masalas which is left behind.

Lemon Peels
After you have extracted all the juice from a lemon, make use of the peel. Use the lemon peel to remove the pungent smell from the grinder by rubbing the peel on the lid and the inner utensil too. Post 15 minutes, wash the mixer grinder with clear water.
Vinegar Removes Stains
For those stubborn stains caused by some vegetables, make use of vinegar. Make a solution of 2 tablespoon vinegar and water. Pour the solution into the mixer and grind for 2 seconds. Repeat the process again with less amount of water if the stain hasn't lessened.
Baking Powder
Make a paste out of baking powder and water. Smear the paste onto the utensil and leave in for at least 15 minutes before washing under clear water. This will help to remove the odour and also help in cleaning the mixer grinder.
Detergent Liquid Solution
One or two drops of detergent liquid is dropped into the mixer grinder with a little water. Swirl the solution for 2 seconds and then rinse well with clear water. This is one of the ways to clean a mixer grinder at home.
Alcohol
In order to remove the pungent smell and to make your mixer grinder shine, soak the appliance in alcohol and water solution for 10 minutes. Rinse well after the time period.
