Remove The Ugly Designs Off Your Wallpaper

Wallpaper Cleaning
Wallpaper in homes has become very common. You get them in all different colors, shades and exotic designs and even though it may be easy to maintain when it comes to hand printing of your kids little imprints, you might want to take a second to look at your beautiful wall paper again.

Cleaning your wall paper will make it look brighter and it will be a more wonderful sight to look at.

Here are a few steps to follow:-

  1. To remove dirt and dust, you have to use a brush to remove the cob webs, the dust and the loose dirt. In a bucket of soapy bubble water, dip a sponge and make sure that the sponge is not that wet, it should be damp. Remember don't use too much of soap on the walls as it will leave your wall sticky. Use a dry towel to wipe down the wall to take out the extra moisture.
  2. To remove the creative art work of your child's crayon, use Mr. Clean Magic rubber, if this is not available then simply use a mild detergent mixed with water and a soft cloth to clean out the art. Make sure that you don't use any other erasers or harsh detergents as it will cause discoloration
  3. To remove the marker and ink stains , you have to keep in mind to first test the tips that I tell you , for each wall paper material varies and can cause harm or discoloration to it. Make a paste of bleaching powder and water. Take a soft cloth and wipe it very gently. If the stain still remains , apply alcohol to the area with a soft cloth. Run a trial test for both, to avoid mishaps.
  4. Most of the beverages stains are easy to remove when it is dry. With a soft cloth and warm water using mild detergent, clean the area gently. After you are done, clean the area with the clean magic rubber.

Always keep in mind that , over wetting of the wall when you clean will cause the water to soak in and thus will lead to peeling of the wallpaper. Don't use harsh detergents to clean the wall as it will cause discoloration. In case of no mild detergents use baby wipes, it works wonders and less harmful leaving your wall spotless and shining.
