Slanket: New Way To Beat The Chill

Slanket, a blanket with sleeves, is the new craze in this winter. It is a dress, which seems to be a cross between a hospital gown and a blanket. It can be worn like an apron.

Lakeland, the kitchen and homewares store in America came up with the new item in September last year. It looks like a blanket with over sized sleeves.

Since then, the dress that covers from neck to feet, has been in demand.

Even chat show hosts Jay Leno and Oprah Winfrey have worn it on their shows. Bruce Willis had also donned the new apparel it on the David Letterman show.

Lakeland is offering the dress for 29.99 pounds, while Firebox, an online gadget retailer, is selling them for 25 pounds.
