How To Remove Spider Web From Home: Natural Remedies For Spider Infestations
An article discussing various home remedies to deter spiders and prevent their webs. The remedies discussed include peppermint oil, vinegar, citrus fruits and chestnuts. The purpose of these methods is not just to eliminate spiders but also to maintain cleanliness and freshness of your home.
Have you ever been startled by a spider lurking in the corner of your room? While spiders may be harmless, their webs project an unclean image and are unsightly. Many people from all over India struggle with spider infestations in their homes, particularly during the rainy season. This article discusses a number of natural remedies to keep these eight-legged creatures at bay.

Peppermint Oil
Spiders detest the smell of peppermint oil, making it one of the most effective natural remedies to ward off these arachnids. To use this method, mix about ten to fifteen drops of peppermint oil with water and spray it in corners, window sills, or any space frequented by spiders. This not only discourages spiders from weaving their webs but also leaves your home smelling fresh!

White Vinegar
Vinegar serves a dual purpose: it’s an excellent cleaning agent as well as a spider deterrent. The strong scent of white vinegar repels spiders and prevents them from returning. For an effective spider-fighting spray, combine one part vinegar to two parts water and spray it around your house, especially in hidden nooks and crannies where spiders tend to dwell.

Citrus Fruits
Similar to peppermint oil and vinegar, spiders hate the strong, tangy smell of citrus fruits. You can place citrus peels around your house or use citrus-based cleaners to discourage spiders from making their homes in your space. Another great tip is to rub citrus peels on areas where you frequently find webs to keep spiders away.

Chestnuts
This might seem a little unconventional but chestnuts have been known to deter spiders. Placing chestnuts around your house, especially in corners and by windows, can keep spiders at bay. Even though it's not clear why chestnuts have this effect, many vouches for their effectiveness in keeping creepy crawlies out of homes.
No one really wants to share their home with spiders. Fortunately, many natural solutions can help discourage these pests and their webs from dominating your space and you can maintain a cleaner, spider-free environment in your home sweet home.
