Always start from the bottom of the tree:
Start decorating your Christmas tree from the bottom. You can do up this portion with your favourite decoration items such as candy canes, tiny artificial presents, sea shells and small angel figures. This is a fun way to begin Christmas decorations. You can deck up this part with any choice of Christmas decoration ornaments.

Balls and bells adorn the other half:
Once the bottom of the tree is done move on to the other half of the Christmas tree. Festoon this portion only with balls and bells. You have the liberty to experiment with various shapes, sizes and colours. Keep adorning the tree with bells and balls to the top. Also, starting from the top lightly wrap the Christmas tree with lights till the bottom. From the direction opposite of the lights, decorate the tree with colourful ribbons. These, too, go till the bottom of the tree.

Star/Angel goes on the top:
Place the star on top of the tree. According to beliefs of many Christians placing the star/angel before the completion of decorating the Christmas tree brings bad luck.

To finish up the decoration, dress up the Christmas tree planter with gift wraps. Add tiny colourful thermacol balls into it. Place the presents and gifts underneath the tree and viola! There you have your beautifully decorated Christmas tree!
