8 Crucial Tips To Maintain Your Dining Room Furniture
Whether you use your dining room furniture daily or reserve it well while entertaining guests or special occasions, it is always a better choice to maintain it well.
Caring for your dining room furniture will help it stay in excellent condition and extend its lifespan!

Here are some easy care tips for your beautiful dining room furniture.
Clean It Regularly
Dust the dining table, chairs, and credenza with a soft, lint-free cloth or a microfiber cloth to avoid dust build-up. Remove tough spills stains and food residues with a slightly damp cloth and give it a final clean with a dry cloth.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners
Avoid using harsh chemicals, cleaners or scouring pads on the dining table's surface as they can scratch or damage its finish. Use only mild and non-abrasive cleaners, especially for wooden or glass material table sets. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendation for cleaning products.
Add Placemats and Coasters
Place protective tablecloths, runners, and placemats under plates, utensils and glasses to protect the table's surface from scratches, heat, and moisture. Always use coasters for beverages to avoid water rings or heat damage. Pulse these protective additions to infuse a sense of decor to the dining furniture as well!
Heat Protection
Add trivets, and heat-resistant pads under the hot pans, dishes, or pots to protect the dining table from heat damage and discolouration. Never place hot items directly on the dining table's surface. Select from attractive choices of trivets and heat-resistant pads to add to the aesthetics!
Rotate The Objects
To ensure equal wear and exposure to light, occasionally rotate the dining table, chairs, and decor objects like vases, jars, centrepieces, and other objects. Add only curated decor objects in chosen numbers to create a clutter-free look on the table!

Wax And Polish
Depending on the type of finish your dining table has, you need to give it certain decor maintenance on a timely basis. For example, you will need to apply a wood polish or wax to keep the wooden dining set to maintain its shine and keep it in top-notch condition. Ensure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations.
Repair Damage Immediately
Any scratches, dents, chips, discolouration, etc. on the dining furniture should be addressed immediately to avoid further damage. Consult the professional for extensive repair. Also, periodically inspect the dining room furniture for loose screws joints, or any such structural issues. Tighten the loose hardware immediately to avoid unfortunate occurrences and accidents.
Keep The Atmosphere Stable
Avoid exposing the dining room furniture to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or humidity as it can cause the furniture i.e., the wooden dining set to fade, warp, or crack. Make use of the humidifier or dehumidifier to maintain a stable atmosphere or environment, especially in regions that are exposed to significant seasonal changes.
